Accredited Debt Relief is led by a team of financial services professionals, legal experts, technology leaders and financial wellness advocates with decades of combined experience in consumer debt relief.
Their collective expertise and shared values are rooted in a single mission: to make debt relief accessible so that no one has to face financial hardship alone.

Vice President of People
John Pollak
“My philosophy is that bringing the utmost value to our clients starts with putting the right people in the right roles and continuing to provide learning and development opportunities. When our people are successful, our clients are successful. That’s why I foster work cultures that focus on results, have a ‘do what it takes’ mentality and are as driven to win as we are to have fun doing it.”
A Career Defined by Scaling Teams and Companies
John Pollak is the vice president of people at Accredited Debt Relief. He has over 20 years of experience in HR leadership and is known for his results-driven approach and solid track record of success building people organizations in startups, high-growth and established companies.
Helping Scale Accredited Debt Relief’s Award-Winning Team by 340%
As vice president of people at Accredited Debt Relief since 2021, he has helped scale the company’s workforce from approximately 500 to over 2,200 employees — and the high standards he’s embedded across the company are reflected in Accredited Debt Relief’s award-winning customer service and its recognition as a Built In Best Place to Work 2026.
To accomplish his goals, John rebuilt HR capabilities from the ground up, establishing centers of excellence across talent management, recruiting, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, performance management and HR technology.
His foundational belief — that client outcomes are a direct function of employee experience — shapes every program he builds.
Prior Experience
John brings a distinguished track record of organizational growth to Accredited Debt Relief. As head of people experience at Optima, Inc., a fast-scaling fintech lending platform, he led a comprehensive, company-wide HR transformation.
He then served as vice president of human resources at Keeper Security, a top cybersecurity software company, leading the company’s people function across recruiting, retention and employee experience.
At Enova International, a publicly traded fintech lender, John led teams through S-1 filings that supported the company’s IPO and championed a massive talent expansion that scaled the technology company from roughly 100 to 1,000 employees.
Outside of Work
John is a committed supporter of the Chicago District Golf Association’s Sunshine Through Golf Foundation, which brings adaptive golf experiences to children with disabilities and veterans in Chicagoland.
